Yen + Jason | Wedding | Harrisonburg, VA

We’re always excited to get back to Virginia from Indiana to see friends and family but this trip was even more exciting since we got to be a part of Yen and Jason’s amazing wedding. In the morning, Yen’s bridesmaids hit up the studio to get all fancied up while Yen had lots of personal attention by Faye, Cindy, and Tweety while the dudes had a bit of a party in their hotel rooms. Their wedding brought together a handsome crowd of people who celebrated with the couple at James Madison University’s Festival Ballroom. There were so many colorful and beautiful details with personal touches including several Chinese elements: most notably the Chinese Lion, music, and martial arts performed at the reception by the Wong association. Naomi Hill coordinated the day, Christie Ligon designed the bridesmaid dresses, and Aly Sawi and PostNet designed the invitations and programs. Bishop Earley Dillard and Elder Travell Travis presided over the beautiful ceremony where the Skyline Tent Company had helped to transform a portion of the ballroom into a dramatically-lit space. We had a blast meeting their friends and family and wish them all the best. Here are just a few of our favorite moments that help to tell the story but family and friends can check out the rest of the pics in the client gallery. Congrats you two!

So much awesomeness! The groom clicking his heels is adorable. The last shot of the shadows is a piece of art. And the shot of the bridal party from underneath the dragon is off the charts amazing.
