Tom and Steph are hitched! You might remember them from back in the cold of winter when we met up with them for their engagement session at the University of Richmond. Loyal readers might also notice some similarities in the makeup of the bridal parties from Matt and Jenny’s wedding, last year: not a coincidence! Great people! While April showers kept threatening their wedding day, the sun was shining on the city of Richmond as VCU was playing in the final four! But who cares about that? This wedding was way more fun (and successful)!
Their wedding was held at the beautiful Sycamore Presbyterian Church where Tom’s father helped with some of the officiating. Their friends Robert, Joy, and Anne provided music during the ceremony with Jon manning the 1’s and 2’s at the reception. Elizabeth Schendel, one of the bridesmaids, made custom letterpress invitations and programs. The reception, food, and flowers were provided by The Mill at Fine Creek, a beautiful location! With plenty of personal touches including the display of lots of their engagement pictures (winking emoticon), the space felt very intimate. And, with some tres leches cake from Kuba Kuba and parting gifts of Country Style Doughnuts, guests left feeling quite full in addition to being thrilled for Tom and Steph. Family and friends can check out more pics in the client gallery. Congrats Tom and Steph!

But wait, there’s more! A little slideshow with some guitar music by Tall (à la Chet Atkins). Remember to check out the client gallery and leave some love for the happy couple in the comments section below! And, if you missed it, check out their super fun photobooth video. Enjoy!

Great photos you guys! (and beautiful music for the slideshow Mike, nice touch)
Love your storytelling! I think my favourite is the shoes on the dancefloor…
That rotating gif totally confused me for a moment… I thought I had gone a little bonkers. Very cool.
Your getting-ready shots are soo good! Congratulations to the beautiful couple 🙂
Your attention to detail is impeccable ..
Lots of great images in this set. Love the getting ready part the best. the 360 degreed animation is also an awesome idea
I really dig the 360 degrees frame on your post and dig your post!
Great job! I particularly like how you shot the cut-the-cake!
What a gorgeous couple – the day looks like absolute perfection and you captured it marvelously!
LOVE that gif! Awesome work guys 🙂
Beautiful wedding! These images are so lovely!
Damn – epicness all around. I wonder how many different lenses you used throughout this wedding because there’s loads of different looks going on throughout. Kickass wedding!
Lovely documentation of a beautiful day. The 360 gif is so cool!
Thanks, everyone! Cole, we rock 24/85’s for much of the day but sneak in some fisheye, 105 macro, and occasionally 35/50. And, of course, we use one of those Oscar red carpet 360-degree camera setups for the animations.
What a lovely wedding! Well captured
STELLAR work!! I adore the shot of the bride and ‘maids shot through the brick wall.
Really gorgeous work, Love the 360, cool idea!!
