Where to begin!? Austin + Molly’s wedding was a dream for us to shoot. Held just blocks from our place at the fantastic WonderLab, a children’s museum in Bloomington, their wedding was fantastic: laid-back, fun, interactive, and full of laughs. Their families descended on Bloomington from New Jersey, Texas, and beyond. Molly got her hair and makeup done at Les Champs Elysees in the morning before getting ready at The Grant Street Inn. Lovely flowers and lots of DIY goodies transformed the space to an even more exciting venue and Lauren from Social Butterfly helped coordinate things in advance and on the day. They had a short, beautiful ceremony in the gardens of WonderLab with music by Austin’s good friends and bandmates Travis, Jackson, and Erica. Then, the rest of the day was a choose-your-own-adventure time of fun in the museum! Engaged couples, take a cue from this plan! It was so incredibly fun and laid-back. Food was stationed on lots of tables by Bloomingfoods and people could grab food and drink as they needed. There were no more official happenings: just lots and lots of fun and time for everyone to be together. Family and friends can check out more from the wedding and photobooth in the client gallery. (FYI: Included in this post is an out-of-sequence set of pics from their photobooth at a reheasal dinner the night before at Upland Brewery!) And, for an extra special treat, here’s Austin’s band, Brother John, and the song that was played as he and Molly’s recessional! Many congrats, Austin + Molly!
What a beautiful wedding…congratulations Molly and Austin! <3
Those are GREAT! Loved it and can’t wait to hang out with the marrieds again.
what a beautiful wedding and great images. You have inspired me, well done tall and small 🙂
What a magnificent capturing of a monumentally splendid night! Thank you Mike+Erin. Another wedding weekend plug – Wampler House B&B (www.wamplerhouse.com) was full to the brim with wedding travelers. It is an easy, warm, and welcoming place to gather with friends & family. The innkeeper even hosted an extra 25 guests for brunch on Sunday morning before we all went our separate ways. What a weekend!
Beautiful photos! Love that one with the sky as the background and the last photo is just great. 🙂
