Because of their love for camping and being outside, Liz and Jason wanted to have a rural feel to their engagement session to contrast their upcoming wedding in the mid-century modern mecca of Columbus, Indiana. So, we met up at McCormick’s Creek State Park where we had lots of fun horsing around. Jason enjoys biking and, while Liz may look super sweet and adorable in these pics, she’s got tough roller girl experience. They both enjoy a glass of beer and sported their favorite local brewery shirts. We owe a big thanks to the Brown family whose campsite we crashed to toast some marshmallows for the second part of this session! It was there where we introduced them to an even more unhealthy way to eat s’mores: Reese’s Cups instead of Hershey’s! We’re over the moon about shooting their wedding next year and are so happy for them. Family and friends can peep some more in the client gallery. Congrats Liz + Jason!
I really liked the shadows on the hay bale… Thought that would be my fave… then I saw the last photo… Sweet American Gothic shot!
Clean, crisp and beautiful images. Love this session guys!
Looks like you all had a great day, such a fun looking couple.
Anyone who can toast marshmallows gets my stamp of approval!
Love the take on American gothic! Brilliant.
These are super cute and I like your “studio name” too!
the silhouette photo is awesome!
Lovely session – I love the shot of them by the fire at the very end. A nice way to finish up the day.
Their two faces with the horses in the background = LOOOOOVE!
Wow! Stunning light and so much joy between them! This session is absolutely awesome!
What a wonderful fall session!!!
Marshmallows FTW!!! Love the pics!
Awesome session guys! Love that they toasted marshmallows at the end – so awesome!
I too love that last shot! But mostly I love this session because it is unique and has little stories within it and a different perspective when it comes to photographing couples. You guys are so groovy!
