NUMBER OF PICS: While we make artistic selections and edit out any redundant or unflattering photos (eyes closed, sneezing, etc.) all other selected pictures, about 50 images/hour, will be professionally edited to be ready for print and will not need extra retouching. Woop woop!
8 HOURS vs ALL-DAY: We generally suggest that we arrive at the tail-end of the getting-ready process to grab some candids, details, and venue shots. This part of the day often doesn’t take very long. And then we suggest we stay until you want us to leave. That can be at the actual end of the event, a “faux exit,” or just when you want the coverage to stop. The 8 hours means consecutive hours and the all-day coverage means up to 12 consecutive hours. You’re welcome to reserve the date for one of the 8 hour options and then upgrade later after you’ve done some planning if you decide you need more than the 8. The vast majority of events we shoot are doable in 8 with the exception of certain events that have a 1pm ceremony, for example, with a dinner-time reception.
PRINT LICENSE: The print license means that you, the couple, can print or use the photos as you’d like! Whaa? Sweet! Family and friends may order prints through the site, but you two can make additional books, prints, and post on the web. The only stipulations are that you cannot sell, enter the photos into contests, or edit the photos (other than simple cropping for frames) without the permission of TALL+small.
MAKING DECISIONS LATER: Not sure yet about albums or fancy prints affixed to bamboo mounts? No worries, you have up to one year past your wedding date to decide on purchasing products like these from us.
TRAVEL: Our travel is free if under 50 miles from Harrisonburg, VA. It’s free for Charlottesville, VA, and depending on the time, possibly free for Bloomington, IN! It is super cheap if further than 50 miles up or down the Shenandoah Valley, Richmond, or Northern Virginia areas of Virginia. And, essentially, it is at cost for destinations across the U.S. and the world. Contact us for specifics!
